I skipped some fitment steps here. As the kit consists of two main pieces, you need to be pretty certain of their fitment before committing to the cover position. This is where clecos are a necessity (and yes you have to get the cleco pliers too). They allow you to hold the panels exactly where they would be when riveted, without actually riveting them.
The pieces that fit against the rear and side body are not supported by anything. I don't think this is important as there is no load on them but I was worried that they would vibrate and make enough noise that I could hear it, and be annoyed by it. So again I made some brackets that fit on the drip-rail studs to support the panels. They are difficult to see mounted in the picture as they are painted black.
Now it's ready for final fitment and riveting.
