Got the call (text) over the weekend that the car was done and I was able to get away from work early on Wed. to pick it up. I've very happy with everything: interior, quality, color, pattern etc. It now seems like a race car and I really, really want to get it done and on the track.
First I much extend a huge thanks to the team behind it. Glen and his son Vic are first-class. Glen is a modern-day Michelangelo with the frame machine and Vic shoots paint with amazing skill. Their two-man shop has no name that I know of, no advertisement, no street traffic, but is always busy. The secret to their success is that they are OPM's Go-To team for SM work. It should come as no surprise to many here that a body shop can operate at capacity doing nothing but SM repairs.
Here they are:

Pics of the car follow. I looked hard for a white pearl that had no yellow. The Lexus pearl is almost blue under direct sun which goes great with the grey.

Not sure what to do next. I guess the harness is the first thing to go back in. Dan should have the engine to me in a couple of weeks. Most of the fab work is done (except for the carbon fiber) so I just have to start putting things back together. Suspension and subframe work is still pending but I can't do that until I no longer need to roll it around. I think I'm going to have a friend that does sheet-metal work build a pedal box for it. Stay tuned.
