If you bought lines specific for a miata you should have no problem. The original oem metal portion has a pin so it can only be oriented one way. Your replacements usually dont and can be rotated to point in most any direction. Check with the wheel back on and under load that nothing will rub or be under stress after you install before you bleed. I've always been able to find a youtube video for stuff like this...try a search. Good luck...

I received some steel braided brake lines for my 90 Miata.  I went to install on the rear calipers and found the original had a small tube coming off the banjo fitting running into the caliper.  I don't know if it is press fit and comes out or what.  Anyway, the new lines I got do not have that small tube.  Does anyone know what it does and if there is a way I can use these new lines that don't have that tube?
