Making room

To make room for the panel I first cut out the hump part of the tunnel so that I could get an idea of where to line it up. Then I lined the panel up with the e-brake and traced the outside and then came inward 3/4". On the floor pan you cut along the seam on the tunnel side and stop about 3/4" from the second spot weld past where the front brace was mounted. There is a indentation at the back that you can follow up the tunnel, do not follow it directly come forward about an 1" so that you can have some overlap. On the top cut and front cut use the panel to help determine how much material needs to be removed. I left 1/2" - 3/4" overlap to secure the panel.
