Racers, Fans and Enthusiasts,
We are excited to announce a partnership with AMG and owner Jason Hoover. Jason has signed on to offer our iRacing Series Champion (or alternate) one of two real world racing options. 1) A weekend school to acquire a racing license or 2) if already a licensed racer, a weekend of racing in any of the many classes the MX5 competes, NASA or SCCA.
AMG has become the power house in the MX5 cup series winning the last two championships in a row with drivers Todd Lamb and Brad Rampleberg respectfully. The team has also won two in a row at the battle ground event the 25 Hours of Thunderhill all in MX5s.
In addition, we are pleased to announce that we will use the MX5 in our iRacing series. The response was over overwhelming and it warms me that the community picked the MX5.
I guess there is no time better than now to announce the new URL for the series AND the MX5 real world classes. WWW.MX5CUP.COM is the new location for all information pertaining to the iRacing series and the classes the MX5 competes in (NASA & SCCA). This site will host the discussions for the new classes. The site will be live shortly.
Stay tuned for more details about the series, additional sponsors and our first exhibition event.

Kick Ass! Better fire up the iRacing and start practicing. I got to at least try to keep Foss in sight.
