Mazdacomp Diff prices?

other than classified here and ebay,  any good suggestions to keep an eye out for a mazdacomp?

Wanting to build a 4.88 diff for ITA; anyone have a used/rebuildable Mazdacomp LSD (1.6) for sale? Or the 4:875 ring & pinion? Or happen to have a complete 4:88 diff laying around?? Please PM me if you have something...

You should be able to put the 4.77 gears from a Kia diff (from 90's Sportage) on the torsen.  Should be able to find the 4.77 in a junkyard.  Or if you want clutch type LSD, should be able to use the 84-85 RX7 LSD.  Everything should bolt together.  

Thanks for the input, but torsen & RX7 options don't work due to IT rule that limits me to original 6" ring gear - "Any final drive ratio is permitted provided it fits the stock differential/transaxle housing without modification to the housing"...  Would love to go to 7" ring & pinion otherwise.

The Cusco LSD is an option for the 6" ring gear.  80% of the MazdaComp LSDs I see these days are worn (galling and "dents" in the housing internals, not remedied by installing rebuild kits).  They can be smoothed out and still work well, but for the price of one set of Hoosiers on top of an old used MazdaComp, you might as well put in a new Cusco?

I ending up buying a low hour assembled MazComp LSD 4.88 diff & housing. Even with the $ spent to have it checked out it it was way less than buying a Cusco from MazComp ($1200), 4.88 ring & pinion ($600), & cost of having the diff built.  Hopefully it will give me the same reliability as I've had from the 4.3 / MazComp LSD I've been running since 2006 with no failures - I have changed diff oil every 2 race weekends & have been very aware after an off NOT to reenter the track with wheels spinning in the grass.  Now to see if it's effective in 'torque multiplication' for those overworked 1.6L squirrels when coming off corners like Oak Tree @ VIR!
