Must be a slow day in Cleveland, or maybe 3 days in a row of gear lube fumes is too many?

The family fleet no longer includes any German cars, just American and Japanese.

Hope the driver in the video is OK.

Haha, no, someone is benevolently trolling me.  90% of my charity allotment goes to addressing hunger, and I hold back 10% so I can say yes to every random door-knocker, grocery store goblins (local school kids selling whatever), co-workers (the Rich Suburban High School Girl's Soccer Team Trip To Paris Fund), Girl Scout Diabetes Terrorists (cookies), etc.

I rarely say no to charitable requests, but a guy that wrecked his BMW is not someone that needs charity.  He should be driving a properly engineered track-worthy car like a Miata (or a 1999 SAAB), and donating all that unspent BMW maintenance money to a local food bank.  It might even save his life someday :)

I would have a hard time donating money to someone's race program under those circumstances. Now if he could not work and it was for his family, different story. but i find paying for your own dumb mistakes is good therapy.

LOL the engineering, not the guy enjoying his crash.  There is internet lore that BMW contracted suspension design engineering of some models, to a Japanese firm.   :bs:

Not likely or industrial sabotage?  :scratchchin:

Yeah. It's terrible when a chassis can't survive 17 years as a dedicated race car. What a pos.

That video makes a cringe, not the burning Beemer, that was cool, but the squids aren't going to make it to middle-age riding on city streets like that.

At least he is $50K ahead, not counting the $250 he didn't spend on "driving loafers", and not counting the 80 million lives that were spent on ... oh never mind .... :)

Hopefully no aliens are harmed due this American car testing.
