Carrying tires in an enclosed trailer

I have a 24 foot enclosed trailer for hauling my stuff.  I would like to set up a way to secure the extra car tires.  I have seen people who have an "E-track" system in their trailer, with (what I assume are) 2 decking beams going across, with their tires perched between them.  That looks like a good system.  Is there anything further that I need, besides two tracks and two beams?  Does anything go over the tires or through the wheels to keep them from bouncing around when I hit a bump at 60 mph?  Is it better to just have a folding rack on one side of the trailer?

I use the e track with shoring beams in one of my trailers. I set the beam separation so the tire is set in enough that no straps are needed during transport. Only need a strap if the rack is not full allowing the tire/wheel to fall over. Typically 10 tires per row and I think I run 10 empty e track spots between beams

I do the same in my two car. But I am too much of a #$%^& not to strap over

stacking across the width of the trailer works great. But be careful to duck when waking under the beams. The beams have a way of getting a TKO.

I bought 2 fold up tire racks from Summit I believe. $50 each? Adjustable and so far so good! Drilled then tapped into the metal wall frame behind the plywood. Can put 5 tires on each.  I dont strap but a pole thru the wheels keeps them safe. If you dont and there is less than 4 tires on the rack the wheel can fall sideways and then out and dent your car

+1 on the E-track and shoring beams, 2 1//2 sets across the width. I always run a strap through the hub hole because the 1 time I didn't one came out and landed on the car.

These racks look like a good deal.  I was not going to pay $400 for the ones from Pit Pal!

They are a good value...but if you want something that doesn't move when you slam your nugget against them these aren't the ones you want 

That's also a plus for the E-track and shoring beams, easily removable if you don't need them. I'm going to mount a short section of E-track near the ceiling so I can just put them "up" when I need them put of the way.
