Yes, David, you're the only one qualified to write rules.  That's been obvious for years.

Peter, please take your steward hat off as your hat means nothing and quit implying I have anything to do with writing rules. The only rule I had anything to do with was support data for was 1.6 ambient air intake. Thank you SMAC/CRB.

I think it's worth noting, you're not the SM community, just one member.

Dodged the question once again! That white shirt gives you the ability to operate as if coated in Teflon...maybe I need to get involved in that program.

I've written my letter, I'll be buying the shocks (contrary to Olivola's strained position), and I'll still think whatever comes of this is a poor result considering the alternatives.

You should join the program.  It would substantially broaden your horizons.

I don't think he was implying you had anything to do with the writing of the rules, just that you are the only one qualified to write any rules :)

If we're going to start listing things that people aren't good at in this thread...its going to get a lot longer than 11 pages.

The slotted UCA hole rule will likely be addressed (not necessarily passed) in the January Fastrack and that being published should reduce the posts on this one by 50%.

As nice as those are I have some questions.  Do they have a layer to trap the moisture they wick?  I have a bamboo sport coat, love it, light weight, cool enough for the summer.  Just have problems with socks that wick but don't trap the moisture away from the skin. Egyptian cotton are my current go to fabric for socks (business not racing) .

unlike cotton, rayon fabrics especially those made of bamboo will wick the moisture away from the heat source (your skin) and the sweat will evaporate.  As an extra bonus the bamboo socks (more because of the manufacturing process than the bamboo) do not support the growth of odor causing bacteria.  I promise you, try a pair of bamboo socks, (mine are designed for kids and women) you will like them.

You are slowly loosing my respect as someone who I have always thought had good insight. You are an intelligent young guy and i enjoy reading what you post. But now you seem to have made it personal. Completely understand your objection and argument...and you made the point pages ago. But i just dont think it fits in the real world. The smallest percentage of people actually have to worry about whether their shocks are legal or not(if this clarification goes thru)...and I guarantee those people ALREADY know!!!(And if necessary they will adjust) I cant tell you how many people I'm aware of that are playing Lucy goosey with the rules...but they dont care because they are not taking contingencies and trophies from others...they are just having a good time. This may not be in the spirit of the class but it is the real world...people fudge! It is Spec Miata...not Spec Nirvana :)

Hey, may I play here. My grand daughter now 13 years old and a serious volley ball player, 8th grade. Anyway a few years ago she was playing soccer and her feet were like leather and all cracked. I bought her a dozen or so pairs of wicking socks at $15-$18 per pair. Cleared up the wet feet issue and back to what one would call normal. She's kind of out grown the wet feet, hopefully. The socks were two layered. I bought them at a local place called Performance Running.

I've been secretly hoping we could go there next. I think I'd rather do that than this. At least with parity there really is an angle dancing on the head of a pin. This is just an imaginary angel.

Hey Kevin. I will do a trade out with you. For every second I help you get faster at Sebring or Daytona (everywhere else I am garbage), you give me beer and one pair of bamboo socks in return. Deal?
