I am replacing a broken synchro in a 1999 box. I ordered part number M504-17-265C , 17-265 on the exploded view from motorsports website the part I received is labeled with the correct part number but is significantly smaller than the part that I removed. I am looking for the correct part number if anyone would be able to assist. I also compared this part with all of the Synchros in the transmission and it doesn't match any of them so I guess that rules out choosing the wrong picture on the parts view.

You ordered the Rev synchro the one in your picture on the left looks like is the 3/4 synchro you want this one. G501-17-265A @ 21.75.
I would replace both if your in there doing one. They should .30 to .60 clearance.

Frank is correct. The one in the bag is definately the reverse synchro. You can tell by the 2 missing teeth
