Hey all,

Question with no clear answer I can find.

I am rebuilding my bottom end for an ITA build. The shop doing to block, rod and crank work found some play in the wrist pin bushings and pressed them out. Needless to say, I am having trouble sourcing these. Mazda does not have a part number, Jesse Prather said he has never had to replace these, and now I am stuck bushingless.

I have found a set from Enginetech that is listed for the engine I am building, but in the notes it states "94-95" so I am not sure about them (I'll call Monday if I can't get an answer here).

First, is anyone aware of a source for these? Second, are the pin bushings possibly the same for the 1.6 and the early 1.8?

Thanks for any help!

Jim

Pin bushings are the same size for all 90-2005 miatas. Subtle oiling groove changes along the years. I agree with Jesse and have never replaced them and I am at over 250 engines sold.
