Jim, while I understand your logic, it does create a problem for those of us that run an NA. Here in the Midwest, as an example, there is no real Regional racing. It means that if we don't run a vintage series, which I do, you then have an obsolete car.
It will take away options for many.
I think this makes a lot of sense, but rather than relegating the NA cars to regional only, allow them to run in their own class IF they get enough cars. They can be in the same run group, so we aren't messing with schedules, but they would be a separate class. This works well with SRF/SRF3 and the SMSE class works well in the Southeast.
Also, if we run the NB cars at a lower weight with no restrictor plate at the HST and Runoff level, we should run them in the same config for all races.
