LS1 Miata racing at Infineon

Due to a flag infraction in qualifying, I had to start in the back of this mixed-class race at Infineon. With nearly 60 slower cars starting ahead, I've got my work cut out for me.

Looks like you had a lot more fun from the back. Nice drive, mostly very gentlemanly, but somehow it sounds and races like a GT1 car -- there's something just wrong about that. ;)

Dr. Dan's LS6 Miata is a sore subject... After a LONG struggle with the car right after he bought it to bring it up to snuff (including a brand new motor) he had some internal engine damage on the cars first outing at Thunderhill about 6 weeks ago. The motor is still out of the car and is being reassembled in the next couple weeks.

I hope he'll be joining me on-track at the next NASA event in August.
