I'm most interested in the 1.6L cars, since that is what I'm in.

Ben, a year or so ago I sent a letter requesting that the SM car side identification include something to indicate the spec line/car year. I included in the letter that FACTUALLY neither the SCCA or Mazda knew how many cars of each spec line existed. The CRB response was something like this, it would be to confusing for the officials. (I deleted the letter as it was rejected.) When this subject was talked about after the rejection, folks on this site indicated it was only some of us simple folks that didn't know who was in which spec line car.

We still don't know how many cars are raced from each spec line.

I see our girlfriends from Florida aren't registered yet.( must be skeered)

I see the O( Oprah) in OPM is even registered.

The motor, in Motorsports reg is registered as well. Rumor is that he is still waiting for his call from Domenicali and the exposure from the Sprints may do just that!

Does anyone else notice there are only two drivers that require 2 lines for their sponsors They will both be under the same tent, I hope there is enough room

There are currently 4 cars that are unknown to me.
05 - Mosing
8 - Cooke - 99+
60 - Urquiza - 99+
73 - Stopka - 1.6

Ben & Johnny, with the letter it was also requested that the event sheets contain the car year. The Runoffs as I recall do a pretty good job. Wasn't trying to stir the pot. At the time wanted the knowlege to track podiums around the country for all spec lines & specifically the NA cars.

Not only would the poor officials be confused (per them) if the car year was on the car/event sheet it seems many of those not so simple people are . (Sorry Jim, it's just facts. )
