Quick reminder that registration is open for the 2011 NASA Nationals @ Mid-Ohio September 8th - 11th.

Racing & Time Trail classes are $649, you can add additional classes by "Supersizing" for an additional $299. Test & Tune day prior to the event is also $299.

This rule is to serve as an addendum to the 2011 NASA National Championship Event Regulations published by NASA for the Spec Miata (SM) & Showroom Stock Miata (SSM) classes and will be effective Sept 8-11, 2011 for the duration of the 2011 National Championship event at Mid Ohio for SM & SSM.

Fuel used during all track sessions beginning Sept 8th at the 2008 NASA Championship (September 8-11, 2011) is restricted to the 93 Octane unleaded gasoline available at the Mid Ohio fueling station. Competitors are advised to arrive with a nearly empty tank and begin using the Sunoco fuel at Mid Ohio to prevent cross contamination with other fuel sources.

Additives of any type are forbidden. A fuel "tracer" will be added to the fuel and testing will performed to ensure compliance with this regulation. Competitors must be able to provide NASA a fuel sample when requested.

Please talk to the powers that be to make sure the gas station HAS A FULL storage tank on Wednesday night.

The last time MID-O fuel was required there were some issues......

At $5 per gallon for the track fuel it's a good thing our secretary cars don't burn that much fuel! Local stations were selling premium for $3.85 last week near the track.

Yeah I remember... I know discussions have taken place but getting that down to the tanker-driver is out of NASA's control, nevertheless I will raise your concern.

NOTE: The spec-fuel-rule is for the 8th (Thurs) through the 11th (Sun), you may run any fuel during the day on the 7th (Wed).

RA has nothing on MO. $995 to rent the same garage I rented two weeks ago for $80. $300 for a 10 x 40 (normally free)paved paddock spot. Makes $5 hi-test look like an absolute bargin. Are we sure it's only $5/gal on Champ weekend? (I can't believe MO management would miss that trick)
