Hi,

I have a 2004 MSM and I'm considering moving to a QD steering system to make ingress and egress easier with the race seat in place -- note this is not a race car.

I've seen pictures of NA cars with QD systems where all the trim around the steering wheel/control stalks/ignition are fully in place. However, I haven't seen similar pictures on NB cars.

As such, I'm wondering if it's possible to have a QD system and keep that trim that in place for a nice finished look. Essentially, can this type of finishing be achieve in an NB with QD system (I realize this car may not have a QD system)?

Similarly, is it possible to keep all that in place and have steering wheel at the stock location or only slightly closer to the driver.

Thanks in advance!

I've seen this. You may be able to use what you have in the pic.

Careful someone doesn't come by and steel it on the street.
