How often do you recommend having the shocks re-valved?

Weird, I did a search before I posted and it didn't pull up that thread. Anyhow, I called Bilstein and the tech said unless I was doing other work to the shock, such as changing spring rates or the shock is leaking; then won't need it. Still, he finished with tell me where to find the service request form and where I should send them... They don't need it, but send them in.

Once a year whether they need it or not. Or more often if you're the off-roading type.
