Discussion this weekend at HPT was that there would soon be an announcement about a replacement race for the MAM double national, scheduled for 20-21 August. No official word, but the Hasting track was the most frequently mentioned, with HPT a distant second. All of the paddock, etc is under water and most of the track, itself. Optimists hope that the water is not deep enough to ruin the facility forever.

What about Memphis, that would make more sense than Hastings

It is Nebraska region's race, as decided at the MidDiv convention. So, they can do with it what they want.

I'd vote to hold the race at Memphis or HPT, instead of hastings. I like the Hastings track alot don't get me wrong. I had heard during the July 3rd race @ Hallett MAM was underwater by about a foot at that time. I don't see how they could host a race in a months time, from the water clean up/damage. Wheeler/Drago, do you know who we'll hear an announcement from? Thanks guysIt is Nebraska region's race, as decided at the MidDiv convention. So, they can do with it what they want.

Should be by the end of the week. Races in our division are worked out in the off season, at the MiDiv convention. This date is reserved for Nebraska Region, and they still own the date, and the race. I do not think they have asked for another region to take it over. So, no votes here. It all depends on what they can get worked out, wherever.
