Sixteen laps on a 1.8 mile course against Miatas and a Porsche 944 S2 and a Mustang Cobra V8. Miatas led all but 2 laps; guess which ones the other cars led! By the way, the yellow Porsche DID NOT compete, so pretend it's not there! The black 944 did compete. S2 heads have 4 valves per cylinder, worth 25 to 50 more horses than the ordinary 944s. Enjoy.

I had a very fun rainy qual session running STL a few weeks ago where the field was chock full of high HP PCA cars. A couple seemed determined they wouldn't let themselves get passed (lapped) by a Miata and ran into a wee bit of trouble trying to stay with me in the twisty bits or trying not to get passed in the braking zones. My face hurt from grinning after that session. At the end, an official waved me over mistaking me for someone else and I joked I thought he was going to lecture me for picking on all those expensive German cars with my poopy little chick car.
