No body got punched out, but the offending party got moved to last place for the first incident, disqualified for the second incident and a 6 month suspension followed by a 9 month probation for the third incident. But I would have gladly traded all of that for a couple of minutes in a room with him without any of the officials ;)

Yeah, but then you would be the one looking for a new racing home.

I know that Mike is writing this tongue-in-cheek, but seriously, folks, as angry as you may be, resorting to fists will simply land you in a world of hurt. And probably let the other guy skate.

Do as Mike did – file the protest. The stewards actually do want clean racing.

Just checked mylaps.....nothing yet.

Does anyone know who the photographers were? There was plenty of on track action with 42 cars......I forget, but how many entries were there for the devil in the dark?

To Terry & John and everyone else who made the weekend possible, thanks for a great one.
I particularly liked the part where Terry personally held off the rain for Sunday's SSM/SM2 race, despite the very long cleanup from the Iron guys.

What is with those guys? I didn't see any examples of Fine British Engineering out there, but of the three times we were on track this weekend, we were delayed twice due to oiling by those folks. Can somebody please teach them to at least not continue all the way around the track back to the warmth, safety and security of the paddock if they're spewing Mobil 1? At least come to the false grid so we can "talk" to them about the favor they're doing us...

I did, and stole a checkered flag/trophy because none of you Miata guys (2) hung around ;^)

Can't say that I liked racing with the mixed region SM group much last weekend. The starts were crazy and people don't seem to grasp the concept of "racing room." After the eye-opening qual race my goal became to finish the weekend without any damage, which I was able to accomplish. That kind of rough racing isn't any fun.

You're such a hard a$$ Rob!!!

I've been told that spreading gallons of oils and greases on the track every session helps to lubricate and preserve the asphalt.
