I was thinking of buying the OMP Super Quadro steering wheel. It has 330mm diameter but flat bottom.
Any opinions on this one. I am 5'11", short legs, long torso. I would probably use OMP hub and quick release if that works.
Is a flat bottom steering wheel a disadvantage. I think i will like it because my knees hit the 2003 OEM stock steering wheel which is about 365mm diameter.

thanks

I have used the Sparco Ring Flat Bottom for years and love it.

I am on my second racecar and the OMP Super Quadro steering wheel is the only one I've used. I think it's great! Haven't seen any disadvantage to the flat bottom. My quick release hub is an out-of-production Momo.

I'm using that one too w/ a Momo Commando wheel which has a slighly flatter / not as round bottom but not as flat as the Sparco Ring. It is a nice fat rimmed 350mm wheel. I prefer the 350mm wheels over the 330mm.

OK - great. Sounds like it could be a good wheel. Thanks for the opinions.

Also check out Sabelt wheels. Known more for their suits and belts, Sabelt has a nice steering wheel and seat selection. I recently became a distributer and have been extremely happy with the quality and service. www.sabeltusa.com for a complete selection

I didn't see them on your site. What's the pricing like? I'm using a Sparco I had on one of the karts.
