Got a starting issue when car is hot .If I shut car off say going to tech to scale after race ,when I go to start car the ignition will click , I might turn key 2 times,it might take 5 times ,every key turn a click ,then it starts . Other times no issues . Problem is becoming more frequent . My car does have the clutch switch bypassed .

I would check the solenoid wire on top of the starter. They tend to come loose and wont always make a good connection.

I can't remember what type of kill switch you have. They occasionally go bad, especially the plastic Longacre switch. I had the connector on the ignition switch come loose once.

The clutch switches ocasionally have intermittent contact issues. While I haven't done so, I know a lot of SM's have that switch bypassed. It's locarted under the dash on the clutch pedal linkeage.

There have been a lot of heat related starting issues this year. Many have been fixed by replacing the starter.
