PACIFIC COAST ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Web Site: http://www.calclub.com/PCRRC.php

You Mazda Racers are formally invited to participate in the Pacific Coast Road Racing Championships to be held at Buttonwillow Raceway Park the weekend of October 28-29, 2011.

The idea is to determine "who" actually is the FASTEST IN THE WEST and we are able to do this with the open, non-specific sanctioning body "twist" added in. Cal Club is providing the organizational structure and the on-course workers, Buttonwillow Raceway Park in Buttonwillow, California is providing the race track and Event insurance for this monstrous event.

Remember, this is NOT an SCCA, nor a NASA, nor a POC, nor a VINTAGE only event... this eliminates the "sanctioning body" constraint and lets everyone run against everyone else with documented similar lap times to really determine "who is fastest"...

With the summer months upon us, now is the time to start planning for the late October Championships event.

Who may enter: All drivers holding a competition-racing license, regardless of sanctioning body.

Registration: On line registration is open at www.motorsportreg.com, or you may also download a registration form from the Event Web Site.

Entry fees: $305 per Driver, Cars eligible for two classes or Double Dip $395.00

Trophies: Trophies will be awarded to First to Third in each trophy run group.

Track Configuration:(25 ACW)

Test Day: Buttonwillow Raceway Park will be conducting a test and tune day on Friday October 28, contact the track office for information 661-764-5334

Camping: There are camping sites with electricity and water, please contact Buttonwillow Raceway Park track office at 661-764-5334

Welcome Party: Saturday night after the last checkered flag in the Tower Café area, this will be a costume party all drivers, crew and volunteer workers are invited to join in the fun. Food and beverages and a overall good time, plan to be there!

As Rob implys, it's the Tech rules for the Sanctioning Body you declare on your entry... if you enter as a NASA SM, then you are held to the Tech requirements for that specific class in NASA SM...or SCCA if you enter as an SCCA SM.

Same thing for rules... basically the rules are the same throughout the various sanctioning bodies... but check out the PCRRC Web Site for the unique specifics that superceed those identified in your sanctioning body documentation.

Your choice it looks like.
