What is the best source for a replacement pully, harmonic balancer, key, and crankshaft bolt? I already have a new timing sprocket. I plan on trying the locktite repair.

What Mike said! Call one of the Sponsers here on the forumThe locktite fix "MAY" work on a street car but will never hold up on a racecar. Pull the motor, turn it over change the crank and the bearings. That way half the guys behind you wont crash when you put a rod through the side of the block and spew oil all over the track.

We had an engine with a similarly wallowed keyway. We pulled the crank and the third journal was damaged beyond repair. The owner reported a little noise and a rough running engine, sound familiar? New crank, bearings, pistons, gaskets, oil pump (replace now or regret it later if the journal is damaged) about a grand.

Are the crank and rods in a 99 the same as in all 94-97 1.8's? I know the head and pistons are different.
Same part numbers for both.
