TOWN HALL MEETING

Drivers and Executive Stewards

Tuesday September 20 10:00AM and 2:00PM

At the Motorplex

This Town Hall is an opportunity for the Executive Stewards and the SCCA Chairman of the Stewards to listen to ideas and concerns of Drivers and other members.

The Stewards seek your opinion on several topics currently being discussed within the stewards program, including:

 Including current drivers as “guest stewards” invited to serve on SOM Courts. The concept is to better represent active drivers' perspectives in Steward’s actions.

 What can we do to attract more members with good qualifications, including active drivers, into the Stewards Program?

 Do the range of penalties and their application accomplish our goal of improved behavior?

 Protesting vs. self-policing driver conduct and compliance

 What can be done to reduce the number of Pass Under Yellow infractions? This is the single most commonly penalized act.

We also would like to hear from you if there are other concerns you would like addressed.

Please plan on attending this Town Hall and help us improve SCCA Stewarding.

Just a WAG, but sending people out in their correct grid positions may help a bit at June Sprints. ;)

Rumor here in the South is Andrew Von C has already bought all the tickets and admission will be based on the spot price of gold.

Can't wait to see Andrew, Chip, Jeffy and the big cheese all in the stewards program next year. SCCA racing will take on a total new look!

I'll leave that to your imagination.

Bring your racing licences with you along with the signs, you may have to leave your licence.
