Was looking for details on the end of season enduro...didn't see them on SCCA page. Are all the classes/rules the same as the sprint races? Other than pit stops, fueling and multiple drivers, is anything different? Legal tires?

Legal tires?
All depends what class you run, "ME", "O", "U". (I think)

We ran "Under" last year and started, when it was dry, on Goodyears
"ME" follows SMT rules.
Think STU/L when thinking about the under class...

Got it...reading the rules helps! The SCCA page has a "view enduro details"but no link(as of yesterday). Johnny..Is RDC the same body you have been running all your other enduro's under? $55 to join for 1 race oh well...

There's also the NASA enduros to consider. I'm not sure, but I think they're cheaper to enter. Don't know what they have scheduled for the remainder of this year, but they usually have one at Infineon around this time of the year. I've always wanted to do that one.

RDC link is at the bottom of the main SFR site.

It's not NASA. The rule are close except for the 5 min. pit and min. driver changes.
If you're a rookie you get a free membership.
They offer to help you learn the track etc.
If you become or renew at the beginning of the year it's cheaper, knowing you'll do the enduro.
Later you sign up more it costs. I haven't yet but pretty sure I'm going to do it this year.

The Enduro/Regional weekend is going to be a lot of fun, it looks like we're going to have a one-off bonus race that will involve Group 7 cars. No more details at this time but... let me just say the registration fee may cost by the cylinder. If anyone is interested in running the enduro and hasn't done it before, I'm happy to share some details and we can coordinate to get you refueling help. There should be mega track time available this weekend which is what everyone said they wanted in the driver survey so buck up and get it!
If you've never done an hour long stint in your car, it's really fun. Since outright speed isn't as important as navigating traffic and being consistent, you get into a nice groove and time just flies by. I've done 2.5 hours in a car in the middle of the night in the fog and it was like I just got in... would recommend a water bottle in the car if you're going to double stint or at least get something to drink at the fueling stops. Diet and hydration are more important than when you're in for 20 mins.
