Weather is looking good for Sunday! Who else is going? I'll be there, but Glen will likely be driving most of the time. She's making good progress in getting up to race pace for next year...
As an added holiday bonus, I'll cut a free vinyl name for your windshield! Just post here that you are coming, and your name if it's not obvious, and I'll cut them late tonight.
See you Sunday!

Hey Johnny,
Santa only supplied the cutter, not the skill. This vinyl stuff is actually trickier than you would expect, and I haven't figured out how to get the handwriting to work very well yet. DIRKSON it is!

Beggars can't be choicers.
Dirkson is great.
Maybe you'll have it figured out by "The Art of Racing".

I will be there. Planning on driving up on New Years Day and camping out front. Dave Anderson is going and I'm pretty sure Ed Railton and Dave Allen will be there as well.
See you at the track

Finally got access to this new site.
I agree the weather looks good this weekend - cause there's a good chance of rain! Unfortuneately I won't be able to join you guys this time. It was at this event one year ago that I bought the blue car from Mike Lingch. Seems like so much has happened since then. Now that car's gone and a new one is in the works. It'll probably make its debut at the big event one month from now.
Have fun, play safe.

Got Kyle, Ron.
Actually, this is a bit of a dry run for the Art of Road Racing. We'll see how much energy I'll have for it when the time comes. Cutting 80 individual names (students + instructors + C group) could take a long time!

Bruce,
Last year and 2008, it was lightly attended. 2009 it was a zoo.

Awesome. Six half hour sessions, maybe a dozen cars. Light rain most of the day made for a wet track, but no significant puddles. Last two sessions had a drying line that was ok for slicks. No wind, and temps in the 50's. There was plenty of room under the awning, so we all stayed dry. I couldn't think of more comfortable conditions to practice your rain driving.
We had a great time slipping and sliding! Fortunately I kept it on the track the whole time, except for skidding past my turn in point in 14 into the runoff as I got more aggressive on the brakes trying to keep ahead of Philip Holifield.
Fun times! Almost makes me want to do the 25 again...
