Did you ever post build details (ie a diary of sorts) for that black SM you were building with your son? I don't recall seeing any of that. Thanks, Jay
Also, didn't you also intend to do a dyno run guide?

The car is corner balanced 50/50, 1/16 toe out F, 0 toe R, -3.1 camber all around, full caster, RH aprox. 4.5 inch to pinch (2+ fingers of shock travel to bump stops all around). I did soften the R swaybar but still can go one side softer and raised the car one full turn that helped a little. I originally thought the wheel spin was a slipping clutch as the NB does not react to wheel spin like an NA.
Thank you to all the NB's that are willing to share

JD and fellow NB's, Been racing a 1.6 SM with mazdacomp and Torsen diff for about 5 years and use to be able to run at the front of the field...sold the car in 2010 to focus on the kids....but still did the 25 and some other races inbetween...just decided to get back into it ....and purchased a NB....I went through the NB and replaced any bent parts and allligned and corner balanced the car to my OLD 1.6 set-up (camber, caster and RH) on the new NB....went out to Infineon for the first debut of the NB and I get wheel spin in L and R corners...not enough rear grip....yes I am a little rusty but can't get the power down out of the corners.

Are you SURE it has a Torsen?

My choices are to increase RH, increaese R camber, soften sway bar to full soft and put on new tires.......but still what I am experiencing does'nt make since for where he set-up is

Tyler have you had rear grip issues on your NB? What is your RH if you don't mind sharing? (pinch weld and static shock travel)
Thank you

I am seriously puzzled, it doesn't make since to me and I can't get the clutch to slip in a test situation...and I even swapped clutches just in case
