Congrats to Elliott Skeer for an awesome year of racing. Driving in his first year of SM racing Elliott consistently finished on the podium in the events he entered... Pursuing the Teen Mazda Challenge title, he took the fight down to the very final race to claim the Teen Mazda Championship. Bringing all his karting, iRacing and SM racing experiences with him to the Mazda Shootout, Elliott stood above the crowd to become the winner and recipient of a full on Mazda MX5 Cup ride in 2012.
Congratulations Elliott to you and your family!

Had the pleasure of meeting both Elliott and his father at Infineon a week ago. They are what this class is about. Both very respectful and eager to help guys but clearly a force to be reckoned with on the track.

Better start hitting the books to get a little head start on the upcoming year...your time will be full! If I remember correctly, you get to choose a team to run with? A few of those teams will be at the 25hr I believe...may even still have seats available? Tim...you should be very proud

My only disappointment will be not having the opportunity to run with you guys next year.

Thanks everybody!! Its going to be a great season and Im really looking forward to it. I still dont think that it has set in yet (I keep saying "see ya next year!" to the So Cal guys)
