Hey Guys,

I figure this might be the place to get the line on cars for sale.

I'm looking for a used SM that will be used for DEs and open track days at first but later go racing.

Since it will be initially used for DEs I'm looking for:

Straight body and quality cage
Car with passenger seat (or can be fitted, also door bars that allow passenger side access)
Any year
$10k or less with typical spares (extra wheels/tires, etc.)
SCCA & NASA logbooks preferred (peace of mind that it will pass tech)

The engine doesn't need to be all that strong since it won't be raced initially and can be rebuilt down the road. However it should be a good running, turn key car. Also can be a car that hasn't raced in a few years and needs some mild updating to 2012 rules.

Let me know if you know of any cars like this that are available.

I've got just the car for you! Haven't put it up for sale yet, but it should go over the winter. It's still got working windows, and is street licensed. SCCA log book only (with some ICSCC races) -- NASA doesn't run up here. It's also got a matching trailer set up with tires and three stowage boxes. You could literally fly up here and drive it home tomorrow. I can provide it with passenger seat and harnesses all set up (outdated, but fine for DE). I'll be posting an ad later, but you can PM me if interested.

My spare 92 model is currently for sale. It fits your request to the letter!! It is in Houston. It has a pro built cage,current annual scca inspection ect. Car has never been smashed. And is a nice starter car.I just drove it at tws 2 weeks ago and it is a nice driving car.

Didn't you know Sealy, TX is the motorsports shop capital of TX! With Hennessey, Rennsport, and Phillips, it's got pretty much everything you need!

Well I knew about Hennessey being up the road, and I have been to John's place, but missed out on Rennsport. .....
