Anyone know what might be up?

When I leave impound, the car doesn't want to idle and lurches and such. After about 5-10 seconds, it's better. I've seen these codes recently along with a flickering CEL.

16 EGR function sensor
25 PRC solenoid valve

More recently the CEL is gone but the 16 code remains.

Additionally, the car seems to gain a fair amount of pep when I get over 4,000 rpm into open loop mode.

The car is doing great on the track power wise.

Last thing I did to the car before this showed up was a tranny swap in which the O2 sensors got pulled.

My car is a 95.

I'm just tossing out stuff... But, have you checked the integrity of the O2 wiring? Loose ground strap somewhere?
