This Week on the Insiders Report.

• The Daytona 24hr event this weekend

• Is there a need for club racing organizations in the US to offer a “Driver Development Academy” for it’s younger upcoming drivers?

• The Impressive car count for the Continental Sports Car Challenge Series

This fast paced, opinionated news show format will primarily cover sports car, Rally and open wheel racing in the US and Canada and will follow several Pro series such as Grand Am, ALMS, World Challenge, Rally Car, Indycar and Trans Am. But the show will also shed light on what is going on with amateur, entry level Pro and grassroots series like SCCA and NASA club racing, Star Mazda Championship, F2000 Championship and Canadian Touring Car.

The shows aim is to fill the void left in the Sports car grassroots racing community with the cancellation of the Internet show “Shifting Gears”.

“Fans of GoRacingTV have asked us since we started the site if we planned on bringing Sifting Gears back alive on our site. It seemed to be a widely popular show and although I’m not sure of the reason for it’s demise, I think there is a need for a show that pays attention to what is going on in the amateur, entry level Pro and grassroots racing world. We hope to fill the void” Said Errol Tucker Sr. the show‘s Executive Producer.

The show will have four hosts who are not shy about stating their opinions and thoughts. Hosts are:

Peter Keane (Team engineer for Spirit of Daytona Racing Team and former member of the SCCA CRB) Peter brings his poignant opinions and years of technical racing experience to the show.

Bill Wood (Rally America Television Analyst and One of four on-air talents of SpeedFreaks) Bill bring Thirty plus years in the communications industry including: broadcasting, print, Internet, multimedia, corporate communications, education and training program development.
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences: 2 Emmys (1994, 1998), and 11 nominations.
Radio and Television News Assoc: 4 Golden Mikes: (1988, 1989, 2 1994).
Associated Press Best of the West: (1995), 2 APTRA nominations.
RTNDA: Regional Edward R. Murrow National & Finalist: (1999).

Errol Tucker Sr. (Host of GoRacingTV.com’s Club Racer and GoRacingTV Minute Shows. Errol is the Executive Producer of GoRacingTV.com) Tucker has brought years of two wheeled racing experience with him to automobile road racing. He started at the club level of motorcycle road racing with a Suzuki GXR750 and moved to the AMA pro series on a Honda RS250 and was sponsored by ACID Cigars. You need to update your info. Peter Keane is no longer a "former" member of the SCCA CRB. He is, however, still poignant.

As a former player on "Shifting Gears", I think you guys do an excellent job.
