I have a 2004 nb. I have merely removed the airbags. I have a couple of Q's:
1) I'm not quite sure what to do with the airbag clock spring on the steering shaft. Leave it? or, will this interfere with a quick release wheel?
2) Is there a wire to cut that will disable the flashing air bag warning light?
thx

What is correct way to disable air bag?

Then you remove the airbag bulb from the instrument cluster.

That gets removed.

Remove the bulb

As part of prepping for a race car, you will wind up removing the air bag deployment sensors near the hood latch and under the front fenders. You will also remove the ECU under the dash near the HVAC controller. Removing the bulb is the last part.
