SECOND UPDATE: We now have a pretty good field planning on attendance. I thought this link might be of interest. It is the 2.75 mile configuration with me shaking down my new SM for the very first time, when I did not know the track. So, I'm pretty SLOW!

UPDATE: The SM field is growing, and we now have verbal committments from the number of SMs sufficient to qualify for the TOYO tire contingency program. The weather is great here in Louisiana, and we welcome any of you guys/gals from Texas, MS, AL, FL, AR, etc. Interstate highways most, if not all the way! Ya'll come....

Guys and Gals, one of the nicest tracks in the country is hosting a NASA double race on the weekend of May 5th & 6th. Go to the NOLA Region forum at NASA Racing to learn more about the track. This coming race will be 1.8 miles, CW, whereas the last race was 2.75 miles, CW.

You can also view the track, take a video ride or two around it via the forum at NOLA Motorsports park. John Crosby has posted a video and I have, too. Crosby drives a GT3 Cup Porsche, whereas I drive the intrepid Spec Miata! One of us is faster than the other; guess who? (No, not me.) :)

You will love this track when you try it. Not too hard; not too easy. JUST right..... See you at NOLA.

Reggie
