I’d like to thank Tom, Ryan and everyone at OPM Autosports and their subs for doing such an amazing job. If you want a SPECTACULAR SM (or track Miata), these guys deserve your consideration. Let me know what you think.

The usual expected OPM excellence; great-looking car!

Wow... built on an '03 Shinsen, huh? Not too many VVT-engined cars out there.

First year for that color; the car's a 2003 Shinsen, one of 1451. Somewhat of a rare car, it was the only package that year offering the torsen without ABS. I'm guessing this one's still got the factory finish, so it's a little sad to see it march off to battle...

You are right - it is somewhat rare - maybe not the best choice for SM since the Shinsen Titanium gray is so pretty. It was my DD for 5 years or so and then it was DD and track days and then it just kind of ended up being a SM. But i will try my best to keep it off the walls.

Here are some pics after I picked it up from Carmax in 2007. The color looked really cool at night.

I'd be more worried about the other drivers than walls. That car is way too nice to race in SM. Congrats and I hope it stays nice and shiny.

First off, nice looking car.

OTOH, I sure hope you aren't planning on keeping that kind of foam on your impact zone...

I was just about to comment on that. You will need to change that foam out for some high density padding. In Texas the SCCA even made me put in SFI stamped padding, not just the high density stuff. That is pretty minor, car looks great... but I'm glad my SM isn't that pretty.

It is almost as nice as yours Danny. You chose some pretty sweet colors. I got lazy and just stuck with OEM Titanium because i liked it but I changed the mirrors to gloss black to match my wheels. Any how - thanks for the compliment. Coming from you, that really makes me feel good. Tom and the OPM guys do impressive work.

I heard Drago is trying VVT again (second attempt) and maybe a few other teams. We'll see how it goes. I'm ok with mid-pack for now.

From a safety stand point you really need to rethink the entire car. I really think the best thing for you to do is just give me the car. :prayer:

Haha The car is awesome. My favorite color.
