After qualifying and some technical infractions the Capaldi Racing Ford Focus is on the pole. I believe that one of the Honda's was first on track but it and the Fiat will start from the back due to tech issues. The top 5 cars were all within the same second for qualifying which seems pretty good for the first race out of the box for parity.
MiataCage has expanded into the B-Spec world with a sister company Sbox Engineering and is now providing roll cage kits and build products for both the Ford Focus as well as the Mazda2. Rumor has it that Nasa may be doing a 25 Hour B-Spec class with prize money for the whole podium in December. Could be interesting if more cars get built.
Attached are some pictures from today.

What group did the B specs run at Miller? I can't find them listed separately in MyLaps from the weekend. http://www.mylaps.co...?st=3&org=37602
TC. They are listed as TCB. Dunno if they are on mylaps, but you can find the results here:

Racing was really good. The Fiat seemed to have the legs on the field over the course of a race, though fastest laps of most cars were within a tenth or two. The Pirellis took a pasting and after the first two sprint races several cars were showing cords. Most cars got down to low 51's. SM fast times are low 46's (on Toyos, BFG/Hooters are usually 1 sec faster). I'm sure with time and development of the B-Spec cars they'll pick up time.
I have pics of most of the cars/cages etc. if people are interested I'll post them.
Edit: GT3? They're like 30 seconds a lap slower. They'd be mobile chicanes. LOL. (GT3 and most classes ran outer loop. NASCAR and TC/B shared the track with TC/B running West and NASCAR running East.)
