I would highly recommend Racing Analytics for your future set up needs!
The most interesting thing about the whole scenario is that they put their racing desires aside to help me, a fellow competitor - talk about sportsmanship and total selfless dedication!
Also, thanks to Robert Huffman (Russell) my dedicated crew chief who plays cards much better than my brothers kids! He's not nearly so nerve-wracking!!! No need to go heels.
I also need to thank my sponsors - Carbotech Brakes and Maxima Racing Oil for all their support. Last but certainly not least, our true friends, David and Jennifer Snider of Team 7 Motosports, for the fabulous car they built me, not to mention rescuing Katherine and I when our Motorcoach broke down :-) They drove 5 hours on a moments notice to come get us and drive us 5 hours back home. Wow that's real love and friendship!
Speaking of Katherine, thank you dear for all your love and support.

I couldn't agree more about Racing Analytics. They had a newbie like me (along with a nice little RE motor) in the lead pack playing with you, Skip, Shea, and Keith on Sunday. At least until I blew the right rear, did a half gainer off the tire wall and a barrel roll down the front stretch...
So not only was it fast, but that little sucker was safe! Nice to walk away from a 100 mph head on impact.

Ben,
Glad you are OK. You were running a great race until your tire started going down. That was a heck of a hit your car took and it must have had a great cage. The RA guys did a good job building your car. If you want the video, e-mail me at tom at thhpc dot com.
Look forward to seeing you soon,
Tom

Some much needed acknowledgements:
Rooke (Racing Analytics)- words can't convey how proud we are of him. He had a bitter sweet weekend. A crash that would bring most of us to our knees, he handled with absolute composure. Though he had plenty of chances to make excuses, he knew the root problem was a mechanical failure and not other drivers around him. This guy is the real-deal.
Machavern (Panic Motorsports) - this guy is going to be in the front challenging everyone before the year's up. Another great run this weekend Dillon. And though we didn't have to raid Jonathan's parts trailer, it's always good to see him at the track too.
Bogart, Brock, Giles, Sellers, Hart (OPM) - always a class act when it comes to sportsmanship. It was great seeing you guys. Special thanks to Thom Hart for assisting Ben, it was very much appreciated. Thanks to Giles for his sportsmanship amid some tight door to door racing. He took the high road on a couple of close calls - acknowledged and appreciated Gary.
Andrews (Ti-Speed Engineering) - you continue to prove why you're up front and deserve our respect for running good, clean, hard races. We're happy for your continued success.
Fulton (BSI) - It was great to see you back on the track, you're always a pleasure to run with.
Thanks to the Bucaneer Region SCCA and all of the workers who did an outstanding job extracting Rooke from his car quickly and safely. You guys did a fantastic job and deserve more kudos than can be put into words.
We'll be packing up and heading north to VIR to support Owenby as he pilots the Team 7 Motorsports Missle. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations on the sweep, Bob! Only a third of it was setup, the rest came from great driving and very strong engine. You were very, very quick.

Shea,
Great summary of the weekend. The group racing SM at Roebling last weekend represented Racing Sportsmanship in its finest and you were an integral part. The competitive fires burn hot in SCCA-SE SM racers but do not consume fair play. As a relative newbie to racing I have learned a lot watching you, Brock, Thornton and many others race hard, while racing clean.
I hope Ben is in another car on track soon. He is a hard charger and a good racer. I look forward to seeing you and the RA crew at VIR.
