Looking for 1990 calipers I noticed they made two different once.
This is what it says on MazdaMotorsports.com:
NA01-33-980 CALIPER®,FRT BRAKE
end date
05/19/1990 A (NA01-33-980A) - 900519
05/19/1990 NA35** -152765
NA01-33-980A CALIPER®,FRT BRAKE
start date
05/19/1990 900519 -
05/19/1990 NA35**152765-
What is the difference? Can I just get the newer part? I am not sure what my vin number is to be honest.
My car is a 1990.
Two different brake calipers in 1990?

Your VIN will be stamped in the tub in the firewall of your engine compartment. When you put a part into your cart at MSM it will automagically adjust for the most current version. Do an inventory status check and that should tell you. And you can call them. They're great at answering the phone and know what the hell they're talking about. There is only part showing up in the NAPA interchange now and that's likely the one Mazda is shipping. Call 'em and see.

As long as you call before 3pm or so pacific they'll ship the same day. They'll even put the right part in your cart for you.

Last time I tried to complete an order on a weekend, their website said I needed to wait until business hours so someone could confirm my order.
