Plus, If you are new to the Runoffs, or to RA, the ROOKIE PROGRAM (bottom of the page) is well worth the time.

Reminder that the qualification rules have changed for the Runoffs this year. Due to a presentation by Mike Collins, the rule was changed to say that the top one half of total National entrants will qualify (if they have four finishes). Last season it was the top one half of point scoring drivers. That put the points at 25 to qualify. This season it includes all drivers that raced in a National race. Right now there are 294 drivers who have entered National races, which means the top 147 (who have four finishes) would qualify. (actually 142 thru 165 all have 10 points, so they would all qualify). The points are as awarded in the overall National points standings, which includes points for cars you beat. If you have 10 points, and you want to go to the Runoffs, you should enter.

Do they ever wave the 4 race requirement if someone has the 25 points

I have never heard of them waiving the number of finishes. And, it may only require about 10 points to qualify, depending on the final races of the season.
