Anything to the north should be forgotten


there's a lot to be said for the sweet smell of manure on the evening breeze and fresh venison hanging on the front porch.

Very true. But in the winter, the Tughill plateau is rough.

Actually, 15 or 20 feet of snow makes it pretty smooth.
