Steve,
I hate to say but the view from my car was a real treat. One minute you were coming on strong and the next your car is bellowing smoke from under the hood. I sure hated to see you go out like that. I was hoping for some pointers around the track. If it makes you feel any better our motor let go while running 4th with under 30 minutes to go. We had a great time and it was nice seeing you even for such a short time.

maybe a good thing considering you'd be futzing with the mirror for 24 hours...HA.

one of my all-time favorite quotes

But I think my all-time favorite is

"It's not a soldier's duty to die for his country, it's his duty to make the other bastard die for his!" -Gen George S Patton

Viewing your video, I kept moving up in the seat, trying to see over the fricken dash!

camera placement merely on par with the rest of the car prep. Didn't even have a tech sticker or GAS 10 minutes before roll out. Want it done right, do it yourself, eh?

I was there as a guest driver in the topless 300Z. electrical problems took us out of the hunt but what great fun that was.
