[Danny Steyn]

I suspect that several track records have been broken since this list was last updated in January of 2011. Hoosiers might have compensated even more than the restrictor and weight changes.

Please jump in and modify this list with the current times. (Track records are times set during races only. Test and Qualifying sessions do not count). Moderators - can you make this sticky like we had on the old forum. Thanks

Daytona looks to be outdated too, I know there have been race laps run 2:20.XXX recently

I ran a 2:20.629 two weeks ago but no lap record so someone has gone faster. Anybody have to scoop on Daytona???

If I recall, lap records were set at Sebring Nationals in January and Roebling National in February. Check mylaps for details.

According to MyLaps, the same day Sellin went 2:20.422 (May 6 2012), the Cuban Missile went 2:20.408, but I don't see the Track record listed for them. Was this just an error by Timing and Scoring, or is there a faster time floating around????

I'm not sure what the rules are but Lee York had a

1:25.748 at Charlotte 8/19/12 but ended up as a DNF after four laps, 1:25.926 8/18/12 during a completed race.

Both were SARRC/MARRS races

Thanks for the post Steve and use of the car. I usually hate getting caught up with SRFs but being sandwiched between all those SRFs had its benefit during the ECR. Drafting SRF's and perfect early morning temperatures - that was fun!

Only 4 records set at National events (as listed).

Not very interesting at all. Nationals only run VIR full, Road Atanta, Roebling, Miami Homestead (one of) Sebring long and only once at Barber.
The other 13 are for regional races. We will be at PBIR in January and I'm sure that one will fall when the big guns get there although Von C has it now. The point about the drafting of the SRF is a good one. Sometimes what you see is not really what you have.



And note the Kershaw is from 08 Nat. I think course changed after that. Morosso is gone and Atlanta Motorspeedway would take a lot to run a National.
