Hi Jim,
Thanks for replying. It was part of the King Rat Motorsports light panel kit we used at VIR in 2009. All of the other components made it safely through storage but the regulator now has no continuity. I've reached out to Alex at KingRat but they might have moved on so I was reaching out to learn if anyone else had the item for sale or had ties with Alex so that I might source an exact replacement.
My next plan is to go to the electronics shop and sift through bins and test...

King Rat had been outta the illumaboard biz for quite some time now. And their garage is shut down. Not sure if Kim plans on opening it back up or not.
I got my boards last year from a place on-line... I'll look into it and get you the info.

That's very hit or miss, mostly miss. I'd suggest browsing digikey.com, or mouser.com, for much more options.

Thanks guys. I remember the controllers weren't the most reliable even when new. I appreciate the ideas.

John, I just called, your mail box is full (so I e-mailed too)
I am retarded when it comes to electronics, soldering, fuses, etc.
I got my stuff from Jeff Lengel last year and he no longer sells them.
Do you think your inverters will work with my boards? I think they are Parallel Electrode panels.
The connectors from the light board to the inverter look like this:

The connector to my boards:

The back of my board:

the bad fuse on my inverter box:

The inside of my inverter box:

Did a search for "Parallel Electrode panels" (way too much time on my hands)
Got this...

So does this place have it? Says invertors.

Yup, that is one of the places I have been talking to. They have 2 types that will work for the Parallel panels. One that will power 2 boards, and one that will power one board. The smaller one is $67 (I'd likely need 3).
John's place has boards for $43, but not sure if they will work with my boards (waiting to hear back from him)

Dave;
Honestly the inverters are the weak link in all of these set-ups - mine aren't perfect either but I like them better than most I've seen. Here's the link to purchase inverters from me.

Hi Dave,
Sorry, haven't checked in for a while. Been too busy prepping for next weekend. We'll be using the component from a friend's working KingRat set that he won't need that weekend.
Good luck with the fix. Will we see you at VIR?

Yup, I'll be there (my first 13 hour enduro and I can't wait!)
I bought some from John. 3 in fact (will wire 2 per light board into the car "just-in-case")
Packed the car up yesterday and sent it on it's way... Next stop VIR!
