Hey everyone-
My name is Austin and I am new to the Spec Miata world and have been nursing this car back up to shape since June. I'm trying to get the car ready for my HPDE's coming up here in October. The car was in somewhat good shape when I picked it up. It spent its life tracking with the PCA but was never raced. Currently I have just been going through and replacing worn out parts, eliminating one noise at a time, and this seems to be the last one. This was the first drive after doing Carbotec pads and Centric rotors in the front and rear. Maybe I adjusted the rear calipers so that they're too loose?

Video really speaks for itself; here it is:

Thanks, I will take a look. I remember looking up how to replace them a while back, they look like a pain. Any recomended method? When I replaced the fronts they were were in pretty bad shape. I doubt the rears have been replaced. Im just amazed at how well this noise was hidden.

There easy to replace, click on the store button and buy some rebuilt ones from East Street and your set for along time.

If your a do it yourself kind of guy you'll need a press...and a big one! You may get lucky and the axle will slide right out...but odds are you'll have to press it out. Then you have to press out the hub, them remove snap ring and press out bearing the opposite direction. Then repeat in reverse with new bearing. Change studs while your there if they are oem. Otherwise do what was suggested above.

BTW...do both sides while your there!

Looks like Drago knuckles it is. I will rebuild my current knuckles when I have time and keep them as as spares. Thanks again guys for the quick responses.

Well now that I've made my self feel pretty dumb, I figured I would let you guys know the resolution to my issue. I ended up taking the car for another drive, and during this the car developed rear pad slap. Then it all came to me... After bleeding my brakes I forgot to torque my lug nuts on my drivers rear. DOH! Looks like I will be canceling my order.
