Does the Harbor Freight engine stand work ok for a Miata 1.6?

If not, do you have another cheap recommendation?

I'm thinking of freshening the original, spare engine over the winter and having the head done. I've never done this before but should be fun. First step is to find an engine stand.

Thanks.

Yes, works on my 1.8 ;-) Finally got around rebuilding the original motor I blew (melted a rod bearing, running on 2 qt of oil.... Don't ask)...
Thanks to Ron for a used bottom end, I was able to put it back together nicely. Oil clearances in spec on the loose side... Should work well.
I've just re-installed the valves in the head this morning... Almost done. Missing a valve spring seat (so short a $1.06 part of finishing it!)
