And, Kyle, you did an awesome job wheeling your car. I'd see your car come around......and then everyone else a second later, lol.
BTW, this was my first time at Sonomo/Infineon/Sears Point. What an awesome facility. I hope to do a track day there early next year.

Great race Kyle. You are the Robby Gordon of spec miata... always driving really fast, really sideways, and with a ton of emotion... I love it.

As many know Craig was sick as a dog this weekend and I tried to not get infected with whatever he had going on...funny enough though...Craig "accidentally" delivered a contaminated, half used water bottle to the back of my car after the race...I eventually fell into his trap and drank about half of it before realizing it wasn't mine. My rear facing video camera caught the delivery and my reaction afterwards:

I am embarrassed to say that I know very little of the NorCal racing scene, or the pointy end players there, but that was one helluva drive
Apart from a few instances, everyone seems to treat each other with respect, and you sir, you turn corners with the back wheels and the throttle matted to the floor. Love it!
Because of your video I now love Sonoma, and would call you in a heartbeat for your car setup. Love your driving style, love the quick hands, and loved the video
Thanks so much for sharing - I wish more would do so

Danny - Sears Point is a true drivers track - TONS OF FUN. Kyle's video is from a NASA event but July 5-7 SFR is having our second Sonoma Sprints (Double Rational). We sold out the group last year at 70 SMs. Maybe too far to tow but I can put you in touch with renters if you're interested in big fields and awesome racing. Or make Tom just keep driving after COTA and camp out in California for awhile?

Another video for you Danny! Not quite the front but I think we were .5sec off the pole in 10th! In fact I think in this race we ran the 3rd fastest lap of the weekend in SM! This was 2011 BTW...2012 as Brian said was crazy deep in talent also and Hoosiers(National) mixed with RA1's(Regional). The west coast has a talent pool every bit as deep as the rest of the country...if not more so(I'm biased!)
And I will say this...video does not do Sonoma justice. When you drive this in person and realize the elevation changes, the technical aspect, and yet fast...you will not be disappointed.
As Brian said, many shops can offer up rentals. As a little further incentive to fly out, I would offer up my trailer(on me)set up at the track for the 3 or 4 days to test and race next summer! The best drivers from Oregon to LA will more than likely be there that weekend! Kyle L finishes 2 spots ahead in this race video.
