Sbox Engineering has partnered with Mazda and Long Road Racing to build a B-Spec Mazda2 live during the PRI 3 day show. At the conclusion of the show, the car will be trailered across the country and raced one week later in the longest endurance race in North America, the 25 Hours of Thunderhill on December 8th.

Normally we would take a lot longer to build a car than this, but we want to showcase how easy it is to take a Mazda2 and equip it with the Sbox Engineering parts and take it racing in SCCA Club or Pro Racing.

The car will start as a street car and by Saturday at the end of the show we will have a completely built Mazda2 that will compete in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The car will be driven by factory Mazda drivers Charles Espenlaub, Tom Long, Ed Bergenholtz, Scott Shelton, Tristan Vautier and Kenton Koch.

Come by and see us in booth 2191 if you are at the show!

Live Build thats neat, How about a live feed to watch and get the progress for those of us who can't be there, that would be cool too.
