Maybe Hoosier just dropped its total allocation across the board. I couldn't calculate the total $ for SM because I have no idea how many total national races occurred last year.

It was a three year contract so tires likely were distributed differently, not drop in allotted tires

Tire was awarded according to the survey that will all filled out. MOST did not care about contingency and wanted a non shaved tire with trackside support. When people are not most people surveyed are not collecting contingency, they usually respond it is NOT important.

Yeah I am sure that most said, please give me less money. :scratchchin:

Broken record - You are starting to sound like a broken record. Bona fide - A bonafide Spec Miata driver Broken record - You are starting to sound like a broken record.

When filling out the survey...
People said " I never get contingency anyway, just those fast guys get free tires! Well screw them they can buy their own tires just like I do! I'm not subsidizing their racing with my entries."

Then they answer the question on contingency.
On a 1-5 scale, 5 being very, 1 being not important.
How important is contingency support when considering a spec tire? I see lots of 1's being checked by many who haven't received many tires in the past. ( large majority)

My opinion is most thought by answering one, the costs would come down across the board in some socialistic manner, but that isn't what happens.
