JOhn Passed away this am after a battle with Cancer. Many in SW and Mid Div knew John pretty well, been racing mostly in Mazdas, recently in a Mazda3. He had been racing more than most of us combined. He will be missed!
God speed

That's a shame. He was quite a character, very funny at times. I raced against him many times in the Neon Challenge and in SSC in the latter 90's.

This is very sad. John was always a nice guy. Was always a fun guy to watch on the track too. Godspeed.

Yes very sad. He was a great man, loved talking to him at the track and hearing his stories.
Godspeed and prayers for his family.

Godspeed John and our prayers for his surviving family.

John was stand-up guy...raced his Mazda3 in the mix within many SM races. Always gave room, and quick to accept an apology when we took too much.

I will always remember him as the guy that gave me a draft at the finish line for my first win at Gateway. Jim Drago will remember, as he was there, albeit about 1/1000ths behind :)

RIP John
