Thanks for the tip Mike!  I had no idea you could make a 5 speed a close ratio six speed so easy....I'll have to turn the audio recording off on my camera now!  Well worth the $100 (Or double what Ron gave!, he only gets a 3 speed...)  Hey Barrett, Mike told me your secret too:)

It has come to my attention that people might have thought that I was knocking the fundraising efforts of Mike by my comment that I thought it was a joke that Bad Rusty mentioned his secret had something to do with changing up his trans to a 6 speed close ratio box. I wanted to clarify.

 

I was not making fun of Mike or commenting on the benefit of the secret or the site. I was only commenting on what I thought someone was saying about using an illegal trans and I seriously thought that the person was joking. I was ineloquently trying to say that if you think changing out your trans to a 6 speed close ratio trans is a legit secret, I have other secrets I could sell you too. Kind of like the saying that goes " if you believe that, I have some beautiful waterfront property in Arizona I can sell you".

This site is invaluable in so many ways. I just donated my $100 for two primary reasons. 1 - To make sure this site is always up when I need to get in the know.  2 - Especially when the girl friend is watching yet another house hunters TV show.
